Roster Cuts: Chicago Bears have Released 2022 Draft Pick

As reported this afternoon, the Chicago Bears have released former 2022 draft pick Trenton Gill:

Gill has been the Bears' starting punter, but after selecting Iowa's star punter Tory Taylor in the 2024 draft this weekend, the Bears no longer need Gill.

Gill was the Bears' 7th-round draft pick in 2022 and has since been the Bears punter. However, he has faced some issues on the field and the Bears were in need of replacing him.

Now, Taylor is the new punter of the Chicago Bears
