The Bears took on the Bengals for their first game of the pre season at Soldier Field in an incredible 27-3 victory.

Chicago's offense was off to a slow start but ended up finishing strong as they put up 27 points against the Bengals. Rookie QB Caleb Williams had a great game despite only completing 6 of 13 passes for 75 yards. While Williams completion rate was not high, a few of his passes were unbelievable including a deep ball to Rome Odunze.

After the game, Williams spoke of how the Bears offense will be this season in which he stated they will be explosive and efficient.

"We're going to be explosive," Williams said. "We're two rooks, but we're trying to catch up to the old guys as fast as we can to make sure that we're right there on par with them to be able to be efficient, function, go out there and be explosive, be on the same page and win games. That's ultimately what we're here to do. Having a guy like that that was drafted with me, we're only going to keep growing and keep building this connection."

Clearly the Bears have an incredible offense heading into the 2024 season and even back up QB Tyson Bagent had a great game with two passing TDs.
