Caleb Williams' biggest rival gets his first-ever touchdown in bizarre fashion
Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams were the first two picks in the NFL Draft and they were both quarterbacks.
Daniels was taken by the Washington Commanders while Williams is with the Bears. While they might be in different divisions, there is no doubt that they are rivals. Throughout the season, there will be plenty of debates surrounding who is actually better and who deserves all of the praise. If one thing seems clear, it is that they are both on a solid trajectory.
Tonight, Daniels and the Commanders were taking on the Cincinnati Bengals. Daniels came into the game having not passed for a touchdown yet. Well, he finally broke the curse and he did so by throwing a touchdown to a 320-pound lineman. It was a great pass and it shows that Daniels is calm in the pocket.
As of writing this, the Commanders are up on the Bengals by a score of 31-20. If the Bengals lose, they will shockingly fall to 0-3 on the season which is simply not good enough. As for the Commanders, they have a chance to go up 2-1 on the season.
If you are a fan of the Commanders and the Bears, you can't help but feel like the future is bright. It may take a few years, but both teams are poised to get their eventually. Only time will tell if it will actually happen.
