The Chicago Bears are in full swing, welcoming top prospects to Halas Hall as the 2024 NFL draft draws near.

This week, they're set to host Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze for a Top-30 visit, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Odunze, touted as one of the premier wideouts in this year's draft class, is widely projected to be off the board within the first 10 picks.

In recent mock drafts, Odunze has frequently been linked with the Bears. However, with the likelihood of four quarterbacks being selected within the top five picks and potential trade-ups, there exists a real possibility that Odunze could slip to Chicago at the ninth overall pick.

Despite being a standout talent in any other draft, Odunze faces stiff competition in this year's deep wide receiver pool, which includes Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State and LSU's Malik Nabers.

While the Bears currently boast a formidable receiving duo in DJ Moore and the recently acquired Keenan Allen, the opportunity to add a talent like Odunze shouldn't be overlooked if he falls into their lap at ninth overall.

Earlier this week, Chicago also hosted quarterback Caleb Williams and edge rusher Dallas Turner for Top-30 visits. Williams is heavily favored to be the Bears' choice with the first overall pick, while Turner remains a viable option if available at ninth overall.
