Booker started his college career playing for Minnesota in 2021, but following the 2022 season, he transferred to Kansas. He only played one season in Minnesota as he redshirted his first year.

Though he has only played for 2 seasons, appearing in just 18 games, many teams are still showing a heavy interest in Booker, as he is projected to be a 3rd-round pick.

Booker finished this past season appearing in 12 games, making a total of 56 tackles - 12 of those for a loss, 8 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 pass deflection. He was also named as the Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year and a First-team All-Big 12.
