In a recent mock draft from ESPN analyst Matt Miller, he predicts that the Bears will draft Utah standout DE Jonah Elliss:

2024 NFL mock draft: Miller predicts seven rounds, 257 picks

Elliss spent 3 seasons playing for Utah, but had his breakout year in 2023. He finished this past season playing in 10 games and making a total of 37 tackles, 12 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles.

Eliss' father, Luther Elliss, spent 10 seasons in the NFL as a defensive tackle, playing for the Lions and then the Broncos. He finished his career as a 2-time Pro Bowler.

Though Elliss is considered to be "short" as he is 6 foot 2, his speed and strength have made up for his height. He is a quick pass rusher who can become a real danger to QBs next season.
