The Bears have 2 picks in the 1st-round, and it's pretty obvious that they will be drafting USC QB Caleb Williams with the number 1 pick. However, we are not so sure on what they will do with the 9th overall pick.
In a rant from NFL Network's Kyle Brandt, he talks about what the Bears need at number 9, and though some suggest a defensive player, Brandt wants to see weapons for Williams:
As heard, Brandt wants to see more weapons for Williams and wants the Bears to draft an offensive player. Whether that be an OL, RB, TE or WR, he does not care. Brandt just wants to see Williams succeed, so whoever that may be, bring him in.
Brandt then goes back and says that if a top defender is available, then they should go for that, as long as this helps Williams in the long run.
Long story short, Brandt DOES NOT CARE who the Bears draft, as long as this works out for Williams.
