Otis Wilson was drafted in the first round of the 1980 draft by the Chicago Bears. Wilson would be a key component of the notorious 46 defense and the 85 Bears. Wilson was arguably one of the best pass rushers on that defense, despite playing with Hall of Fame defensive end Richard Dent. In the infamous 85 season, Wilson would be second on the team with 10.5 sacks. This accolade from the OLB position is certainly tremendous. Wilson's blitzing ability caused so much disruption that would go along with his 38 career sacks as a Bear.
Unfortunately, injuries would pose the potential of a possible Hall of Fame career for Wilson. Even with battling a plethora of injuries in his career, Wilson would go on the become a pro bowler and of course an all-time Bears great.
