Today marks 95 days until the regular season is underway in Chicago. Each day that passes we are anxiously closer to training camp, preseason, and regular season football. Let's journey back into the history of this historic franchise and #95.

Current- Khyiris Tonga:Tonga was a 7th-round selection in 2021 for the Bears. Despite being a late-round selection Tonga made strides quickly to move through the depth chart in a crowded defensive lineup. In his rookie season, the Bears had injuries to Eddie Goldman and Akiem Hicks allowing Tonga to get snaps. Tonga is not only big and strong standing at 6'-4» and 338 lbs but he is athletic and quick. Tonga will have the opportunity to make an impact and fill a spot if needed for the interior D-Line.

00s-10s: Anthony «Spice» Adams-«Spice» Adams played out the final 5 years of his 9 year NFL career as a Bear. Despite having almost a decade-long NFL Career Adams is more known for his personality after his playing days. You can find «Spice» as a frequent host on Inside The Bears and of course on his popular social media accounts, where he produces hilarious content.

The G.O.A.T.: Richard Dent-

Richard Dent of course is the most historical Bear to ever wear 95 and we would not be surprised if the Bears are to retire the number one day. Dent owns the Bears team record for career sacks with 124.5 as a Bear and is 10th All-Time amongst all pass rushers. The historic 85 Season happens to arguably be Dent's best season ever also. Not only did lead the league in sacks with 17 that year, he also earned Super Bowl MVP Honors, he recorded 1.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in Super Bowl XX. Dent was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
