Aaron Rodgers might have parted ways with Green Bay, but his competitive spirit against the Chicago Bears remains alive and well.
Despite currently recovering from an Achilles injury sustained during a brief stint with the New York Jets, Rodgers hasn't lost touch with the happenings of his previous team. As Jordan Love stepped up as the Packers' leading quarterback, he marked his debut with a resounding 38-20 victory over the Bears.
During his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers mentioned the message he sent to Love post-game: "Congratulations on keeping the ownership in place."
Rodgers, during his tenure with the Packers, had a notorious reputation for challenging Bears supporters. A memorable instance was in 2021 at Soldier Field in Chicago, where after scoring a touchdown, he famously proclaimed, «I still own you!»
With an impressive 24-5 record against Chicago spanning 29 games, Rodgers accumulated 64 touchdowns, 6,965 yards, and a completion percentage of 67.29.
While Rodgers would love to be on the field clinching victories with the Jets, he's currently observing Zach Wilson lead the offense.
