According to Fox Sports, Aaron Rodgers refused a trade that would have sent him to New England. The Patriots made an offer with the Packers, but Rodgers turned it down.
According to Fox Sports, Rodgers said no because of his desire to playing in New York so badly. He turned down a chance of playing with the GOAT of coaches, all because he loves NYC so much. I guess that explains why he was at the Tony Awards last weekend...
After Tom Brady left New England, the Pats have been looking for their guy. They tried it out with Cam Newton, but that did not last very long. They then drafted Mac Jones with their 15th pick in the 2021 draft. Since then, Jones has not been very consistent, but he has potential. However, Rodgers on the Pats would have brought this team back to life, as they have not been the same since Brady said goodbye.
Would Rodgers have been a good fit? Or, would he have gotten into drama with Belichick?
