According to Connor Orr of Sports Illustrated, the Bears will have their true #1 wide receiver by the end of the season.

I recognize the hypocrisy of this statement given how harsh I've been on the Bears and how they're building around Justin Fields. But they can still put together a struggling offense and have one capable wide receiver who puts up monstrous numbers.

I think he makes fair points. Will the Bears have a top 10 offense? No. Will the Bears have a top 20 offense? Probably not. However, I do expect to see a huge step up from a few young players. Those players are QB Justin Fields, WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet.
I think we will see them gaining a lot of confidence and start to play up to their potential. As for Mooney, the sky is the limit for this kid. He has all the tools to become a perennial Pro-Bowl wide receiver. I think his strong connection with friend and teammate Justin Fields will play a massive part in his success.
