The Chicago Bears will undoubtedly need to strengthen their offensive line in the NFL Draft of 2023. What is the point of having an explosive running back if there is no line to create the holes and the gaps? What is the point of having a talented receiving corps if the quarterback doesn't have the time to make the plays down the field?

Queue Alabama prospect Tyler Steen.

Steen began his collegiate career at Vanderbilt. He quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, starting at right tackle during his freshman year before moving on to left tackle for the following two seasons.

However, Steen wasn't content to rest on his laurels. Seeking to challenge himself further, he decided to transfer to the University of Alabama, another top football program. There, he took on the challenge of starting at left tackle for every game, and he certainly did not disappoint.

According to projections, Steen is currently expected to be selected in the third round, a testament to his skills and potential as a player.

Steen's versatility on the field is likely to be a key factor in his draft prospects. With Riley Reiff no longer on the team and no significant additions made in free agency, there is a clear need for depth at the tackle position. Even if the team drafts a tackle early, Steen could still be a valuable addition to the roster.
