Allen Robinson has signed with a new team!
Tom Pelissero reported that the Rams are signing WR Allen Robinson to a three-year, $46.5 million deal that includes $30.7M fully guaranteed.
We knew there was a great possibility that Robinson would play in another uniform next season and it is now official.
Robinson was a great player for the Bears early on in his career. He had back-to-back 1000+ yards seasons. However, he struggled a lot in 2021. It's a shame to see him leave but I don't think it would have made a lot of sense to re-sign him at this price tag.
Robinson, 28, spent the past four years with the Bears. In 12 games in 2021, Robinson hauled in 38 receptions for 410 yards and a touchdown. For his career, Robinson has amassed 6,409 yards on 495 receptions and 40 TDs.
The Los Angeles Rams is a really surprising landing spot for him. The rumors were pointing towards the Patriots, Colts or Eagles. It really came out of nowhere. He will join a stacked offense that just won the Super Bowl. It will be interesting to see if he is able to rejuvenate his career in LA.
