"The Chicago Bears continue to be connected with Carson Wentz in trade rumours going back to last week. We heard that a big leaning factor could be what kind of a scouting report former Philadelphia Eagles' head coach Doug Pederson gives Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace on Wentz. Well, he might have a bigger connection in house than Pederson. Today the Bears promoted John DeFilippo to quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.That means DeFilippo is taking over from Dave Ragone who left to join the Atlanta Falcons. The interesting connection here is that DeFilippo was Wentz's QB coach when the two were in Philadelphia together. This will be an interesting storyline to follow as the days go by.
