Pro Football Focus released a 2023 mock draft this week and they had the Chicago Bears selecting Alabama QB Bryce Young. I have to admit that I was very shocked by this choice at first since the Bears took a QB in the first-round two drafts ago in Justin Fields. He has over two years left on his rookie deal too.
However, you can understand where this is coming from as Fields stands at the bottom of the league in a plethora of passing stats.
The most mind-boggling stat about Fields is his passing attempts. Indeed, he has 67 through four weeks (32nd in the NFL) which equals 30 less than Mac Jones, who ranks 30th in the category.
