Indeed, the Bears agreed to a trade with the Steelers for wide receiver Chase Claypool. A 2023 second-round pick will be going back to Pittsburgh.
Well, after a few weeks, I think it's pretty obvious that Claypool has not changed the passing attack yet. I know that we can't totally evaluate the trade this soon, but it's fair to say that it might not have been the wisest move made by GM Ryan Poles, especially when you consider that the pick will likely be inside the top 40.
