"There's an update regarding the unfortunate story surrounding Chicago Bears' first round pick Roquan Smith earlier this week. Smith had his car broken into and lost a slew of items which included a Chicago Bears team issued iPad, several pieces of Georgia memorabilia, a watch and other items. The update is a good one. The police were able to trace a finger print that was found on the car and tracked down the perpetrator. They were able to recover three Georgia jersey's, his Georgia helmet, a watch and Georgia bag. Unfortunately they weren't able to recover all the items, and one which is still at large is Smith's iPad.But the Bears were able to wipe the playbook from the iPad remotely, so unless the perpetrator had some serious hacking skills which he used immediately, it looks like the Bears playbook and Matt Nagy's secrets are safe for now.
Love that the police who recovered Roquan Smith's stolen memorabilia went with the stone-faced drug bust pose here (via the Summerville News). pic.twitter.com/0NfcvMhWWx — Brandon Zimmerman (@BZSEC) May 9, 2018
