"Honestly, it used to weigh heavily on me," Johnson revealed during an interview on ESPN Radio. "I used to feel immense pressure, especially entering my third year. I saw it as the time to prove myself, to earn a new contract and solidify my future. But now, it's all about staying true to myself, showcasing my dominance as a corner in this league, shadowing the top wide receivers, and consistently performing at a high level. I strive to be a better teammate, contribute to victories, and let the rest fall into place."

Although the Bears endured a challenging 3-14 season, there is renewed optimism thanks to offseason improvements and the presence of seasoned veterans. Many believe that Chicago has the potential to make an impressive leap from worst to first.

Johnson recognizes that success on the field ultimately leads to rewarding paychecks. He shared his focused mindset heading into his fourth year, stating,

"Ultimately, my main concern is winning. Because with winning comes financial rewards. Year 4 is all about striving for victory, and that's where my focus lies."
