Going into the 2023 offseason, the Bears were in need of a running back. Thankfully, they found a good one, and signed RB D'Onta Foreman to a one-year deal.

In an interview with KPRC 2, Foreman opened up about his career thus far, and how he feels about the competition ahead, as he is currently competing for the Bears RB1, against fellow running backs Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson.

When asked about the competition ahead, Foreman said:

"Looking forward to it, it's work, it's football. I like competing. I've been competing ever since I've been in Little League football. It's just another season for us. I'm looking forward to competing with those guys. I kind of know how they work already, so I like the room. They're all great guys. I'm looking forward to getting to work with them"

Foreman was drafted by the Texans in the 3rd round of the 2017 draft. After being waived by the team 2 years later due to poor working habits and being late to team meetings, Foreman found himself bouncing around to different teams.

Foreman's best season came last year with the Panthers, as he ran for an amazing 914 yards, along with a solid 5 touchdown season, all with only 9 starts.

His career is looking to be going up, and his best years are soon to come, hopefully as a member of the Chicago Bears.
