During a team media session, Jones made some fiery remarks about Green Bay fans, expressing his disappointment in Rodgers' departure from the Packers:
"I wish Rodgers had stuck around for one more year with Green Bay. Their fans really leave a lot to be desired. I was looking forward to going up there, facing off against him, and scoring a win. I wanted him to witness it. Now that he's left, well, it's just not the same. They tend to be so noisy shouting about stuff that's barely relevant? Half of them don't even seem to grasp the nuances of football. It's perplexing," Jones expressed his feelings passionately.
Jones wrapped up his thoughts by stating:
"I crave to hit the field, beat them senseless right on their home turf, and relish the chorus of boos. That's what gets me excited."
Over the course of his career, Rodgers has clashed with the Chicago Bears 30 times. He has clocked in 6,965 yards, with 64 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 29 regular-season starts.
In the 2010 season playoffs, the 39-year-old player amassed 244 yards and intercepted twice. Summing up his record, Rodgers has a dominant 25-5 win ratio against the Bears, marking the highest number of victories against any team he's competed with.
