Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus not concerned over Justin Fields Struggles
It was well-documented that the Bears' offense was struggling this week in practice. We got a lot of reports that it was the passing game, in particular, that was having troubles. This means that QB Justin Fields was a big part of the problem during those practices.
However, Bears' HC Matt Eberflus did not seem worried at all.
"Each guy is working through learning the system. When you're learning a new system, you're going to have mistakes. Mistakes are good. Mistakes are learning opportunities, so you have to look at it that way at every position. So we're going to push them, challenge them, stretch them mentally and physically so they do make mistakes, why, so we can learn and grow," Eberflus said.
I think he is right that it's not a huge deal in April if the offense is struggling. However, you have to wonder if Fields has enough talent surrounding him at this point...
