Bears linebacker Matt Adams returned to action Sunday after missing two games with a hamstring injury. He played four defensive snaps and 17 on special teams before injuring a calf.

He was actually a starter in the base 4-3 set so far this season. However, Brad Biggs reported on Tuesday that he was placed on IR due to a calf injury. He was seen in a walking boot after the game.

He will miss at least 4 games. This also means that we might see more of standout rookie Jack Sanborn and veteran linebacker Joe Thomas.
