Bears QB Justin Fields Owns Up to Mistakes after 20-17 Loss Against the Browns
Though the defense was at their very best, and QB Justin Fields made some sweet plays, the Bears ended up losing to the Browns.
After the heartbreaking loss, Fields spoke to the media, and owned up to his mistakes:
Fields notes how good the defense was, but sadly, he and the offense were nowhere near that, and lost this game for them.
Fields ended the game going 19/40, throwing for 166 yards, along with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Though he did end with 2 interceptions, both of those were on hail-mary attempts, so I would not even include them in his stats.
Also, many of the incompletions were due to his receivers dropping the ball, or not putting enough effort into the plays.
Yes, Fields does have much to work on, but this loss does not go on him. The blame should be on his O-line, his receivers, and the coaches.
