I'm not quite sure if he would be the right man for the Bears. Of course, Chicago needs some help at the receiving position and the market is very slim at the moment. However, Valdes-Scantling has had a lot of struggles in his career ever since he joined the league.
It all comes down to the price. I have heard some reports that he is looking for a salary of around $10 million annually. At this price, it's a no. But, if you could sign him for, let's say $6 million per year, it could potentially work. The key is really not to overpay for a guy of his caliber.
Valdes-Scantling possesses great speed and explosive big-play ability, which would make him an intriguing option for receiver-needy teams like the Chicago Bears.
