Kordell played college at Colorado where he gained recognition as the Miracle at Michigan when he completed a hail mary to beat Michigan in 1994. He was drafted by the Steelers in 1995, Kordell didn't get to start until 1997 going 11-5. He led the Steelers to an AFC top seed and conference championship in 2001, earning him AFC Offensive Player of the Year. The following year he was rather injury prone and after a less than ideal 2002 season, the Bears picked him up to start in 2003.
We had gone 13-3 in 2001 but other than that the early 2000s were hard for Bears fans.
Stewart started in Chicago for the first seven games before he was pulled. He went 2-5 as the starter, with seven touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. What makes him memorable is the rapid decline in his playing after showing such potential. I barely remembered the guy, to be honest. He spent his last two years as a backup in Baltimore, then quietly retired. Also as a fun fact, he was the cover of 1998's NFL Blitz
