Bears Starters Have Fantastic 1st Half against Browns
After a poor first series that ended in a 3 and out, the Bears starters dialed in and scored 21 points against the Browns in the first half of the 3rd preseason game.
Justin Fields went 14/16 for 156 yards with 3 touchdowns. Those 3 touchdowns came from drives led by Fields of 80, 52 and 62 yards. Montgomery had 28 yards rushing, and Cole Kmet had 3 catches including the third touchdown of the half. Dante Pettis and Ryan Griffin scored the other two touchdowns for the Bears. The Offensive line looked extremely solid after the opening drive, giving Fields plenty of time to make his reads.
