The Chicago Bears kicker situation is still surrounded by lots of questions marks. Cody Parkey is gone and many hoped that the Bears would bring back Robbie Gould to replace him, and Gould was open to coming back to Chicago. The San Francisco 49ers put a pause to those thoughts when they franchise tagged Gould, however Gould has never signed the franchise tag. Now according to reports, the 49ers are showing strong interest in free agent kicker Stephen Gostkowski. The longtime New England Patriots kicker is currently fielding offers however hasn't found a new home. If Gostkowski can find his way to San Francisco, the doors would be wide open for Gould to sign with Chicago.
