Bills Head Coach Raves Over Former Infamous Bears WR Chase Claypool

The Bears made one of the worst trades in franchise history during the 2022 season after sending away an early draft pick in exchange for former Steelers WR Chase Claypool.
The Bears were then fed up with Claypool's off-field and on-field issues, they finally traded him away to the Dolphins during the 2023 season.
The Dolphins then cut Claypool following this past season, but Claypool was able to find a new home.
This offseason, Claypool signed a 1-year deal with the Bills, and according to their head coach Sean McDermott, he's impressing the team so far:
As seen in the tweet, McDermott is happy with the way Claypool is showcasing himself so far at Bills camp:
"I applaud Chase (Claypool) for coming here to see where things go. ... You don't find that a lot around the NFL where a player has been at a certain level and then is on a mission right now to reclaim what he once was in that regard. And those are my words, maybe not fair to Chase, respectfully, but I would just say very impressed with his day to day approach, true pro, high character, smart player, and he's been a good addition to our team"
Though most analysts and insiders believed that Claypool's time in the NFL was coming to an end, he found a way to sign with a new team and has hopes of going back to the player he once was.
