Reuter believes that the Bears will move on from Fields this offseason and instead draft a QB with their 1st pick, meaning he wants to see the team draft USC QB Caleb Williams.
The Patriots would also be willing to give up their 3rd overall pick, as they are in desperate need of a new QB. Mac Jones is clearly not working out with them, so they will be looking for his replacement, either with a trade, the draft, or free agency.
This trade scenario would allow the Bears to have a fresh start with the top prospect, along with being able to draft another top name, Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
This trade will work for the Patriots as they need a new QB and Fields still has a lot left to prove. He can still become an elite QB, but maybe a change will bring this out.
