The Chicago Bears and general manager Ryan Pace announced a roster move on Wednesday morning. The team has decided to place linebacker Pernell McPhee on injured reserve and in response has signed linebacker Jonathan Anderson to the active roster. It's a tough blow for the linebacker as he's battled through a shoulder injury in recent weeks and was kept out of the team's game against the Bengals this past weekend. It's very tough to imagine the 29 year old being back next year in Chicago, McPhee is out of guaranteed money and the team would open up $7.075million in cap space if they decided to release him during the offseason. While regarded as a leader off the field, he's struggled to get any reps on the field due to chronic knee issues and having spent the last two preseasons on the PUP list.McPhee has pocketed $15.5million in guaranteed money on his Bears deal and missed seven total games in 2016.Do you think this is the end of McPhee's time as Bear?
