"The Chicago Bears continue to develop a very underwhelming free agency period for their fans. Of course it's been highlighted by the team losing out on Russell Wilson and instead signing free agent quarterback Andy Dalton. What makes it all worse is that the Bears have done absolutely nothing else during free agency....They haven't added any pieces to their OLine and they haven't added any offensive talent at all. Very early Thursday morning general manager Ryan Pace finally dipped into the free agent pool but it wasn't to address either of those needs. Pace signed free agent defensive lineman Angelo Blackson on a two year deal. Blackson comes over from the Arizona Cardinals where he had a pretty good season with 2.5 sacks and 24 combined tackles and 8 QB hits.
The #Bears have agreed to terms with defensive linemen Angelo Blackson on a 2-year contract, source said. A productive player this year for AZ, now an addition to a talented Chicago defensive front. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 18, 2021
