"The Chicago Bears added another tight end during the draft and were mocked for having so many tight ends on the roster. With so many tight ends on the roster, general manager Ryan Pace decided to waive the first one on Monday. The Bears have waived tight end Dax Raymond. The undrafted free agent sustained a head injury during the preseason and never got into any game action. He was released by the Bears and signed to the practice squad.With Jimmy Graham, Demetrius Harris and Cole Kmet added during the offseason, there wasn't really a chance of Raymond making the roster.
