BREAKING: Chicago Bears have Shockingly Released Pro Bowler after 8 Seasons

As just announced, the Bears have decided to release former Pro Bowl guard Cody Whitehair:

Whitehair was drafted by the Bears back in 2016 and has been apart of this team since. He was named onto the PFWA All-Rookie Team in his first season, and was named as a Pro Bowler in 2018.

In the 124 games played with the Bears, Whitehair started in 118 of them.

This release comes just before free agency begins, and the team decided to release him so he can explore his options.

With this release, the Bears will be saving $9.1 million.
