As revealed by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, star LB Leighton Vander Esch will be out for the rest of the season with a neck injury, but his career is also now in question:

These neck injuries are not new to Vander Esch, as he has been dealing with these type of injuries since college. Unfortunately, it is possible that his neck has too much damage to return to the playing field.
No report has confirmed or denied that his career is over, but the Cowboys are feeling like it may come to an end shortly.
