"Chicago Bears wide receiver Javon Wims was given a two game suspension by the NFL earlier this week. The suspension of course stems from the incident during the weekend against the New Orleans Saints where he punched Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in the helmet. Wims immediately appealed the suspension and believed he had the argument to get it dropped. Unfortunately for Wims he didn't win the case and his suspension will be upheld.
Javon Wims's two-game suspension was upheld by appeals officer James Thrash, who heard Wims's appeal Tuesday. — MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) November 4, 2020
