"The Chicago Bears coaching search has just extended to the offensive coordinator role as well. With John Fox having been given his pink slip, it seems offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains wanted no part of a new coach as he'll be leaving the Bears organization. Both Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter reported Thursday morning that Loggains will be joining Adam Gase in Miami to be the team's offensive coordinator. Loggains joined the Bears in 2015 as quarterbacks coach before eventually taking over as offensive coordinator when Gase left for Miami. Depending on what exactly happens with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, the Bears could be looking at a totally clean slate when it comes to their coaching staff. The team will now have the perfect opportunity to hire coaches who will work very closely with Mitch Trubisky to take him to the next level. More to come.
The #Dolphins are naming Dowell Loggains as their new offensive coordinator, source said. Big hire.Former OC Clyde Christensen likely to remain with the team and transition to another role. — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 4, 2018
