Former Chicago Bears' guard Kyle Long shocked some people and turned some heads when he popped back into the NFL after a brief retirement stint. After years of injuries with the Bears, when Long announced his retirement it wasn't hard to believe. But out of nowhere this offseason Long announced he was going to make an NFL comeback and shortly after signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, an opportunity many believed would give him a shot at a Super Bowl. However he's unfortunately already injured. Long suffered a leg injury that will keep him out of OTAs. According to Tom Pelissero, Long has suffered a fractured kneecap but could be ready for Week 1.
The belief is Kyle Long suffered a fractured kneecap, per source. Sounds painful (and surely is!) but Long has a chance to be ready Week 1. https://t.co/UAt5OmBjj5 — Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) June 10, 2021
