Brady has been fined $16,444 for unnecessary roughness for a sliding attempt to trip Cowboys safety Malik Hooker during last Monday's 31-14 Cowboys win.
The illegal play took place after Chris Godwin fumbled in the third quarter. Hooker recovered the ball for the Cowboys and as he was returning it, Brady attempted to slide-tackle the Cowboys safety.
Brady, who will enter into his 24th season next year if he decides to return, likely won't play for Tampa Bay again after another early playoff exit, according to NFL Network. The 45-year-old added he would approach the decision by taking it «one day at a time.»
