Brian Urlacher raving about LB Roquan Smith
While the Bears don't necessarily have the best roster in the NFL, they still have a few very solid players. Well, you could make a case that none are better than LB Roquan Smith. He has been simply amazing ever since he stepped foot on an NFL field. I know that he is still very early in his career, but I have a feeling that he will be a hall of Fame type of player for the Bears in the future.
It is amazing to learn how stacked the Bears' linebacker legacy is. Bill George, Dick Butkus, Mike Singletary, and Urlacher are all in the Hall of Fame. Smith could be the fifth interior linebacker to get a gold jacket if this trend holds for the next few years.
Well, speaking of great linebackers, it looks like Brian Urlacher has been paying close attention to what Smith is doing.
Indeed, Daniel Greenberg reported that Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher said on ESPN 1000's Waddle and Silvy Show that linebacker Roquan Smith is "talented as hell. He's got all of the tools to be great."
I think that if anyone knows what he is talking about, it's clearly Urlacher. After all, he was one of the best middle linebackers in the league for years...
