Carr-ying the Game
Although not necessarily Bears' related, I'm watching the Pro Bowl and I have to say that Derek Carr going to the pro-bowl is a genius move and I don't know why more people aren't talking about it.
The soon-to-be ex-Raider made an expert-level move this week, going to the Pro Bowl, what better way to check the market than an NFL-sponsored free vacation to play and throw with some of the best talents in the league? Derek gets a week to test out who he might work well with, and they get a chance to do the same with him.
Dollars to donuts we hear some new trade rumors after this week regarding Carr. He will undoubtedly be the star of free agency unless Grandpa Aaron Rodgers decides to run away from the old folks home in Green Bay. Derek has looked great all week, showing out in the skills competition.
I've never paid much attention to him as we don't play the Raiders too often, but he is for sure going to find a new home and a good contract.
