With starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky sitting for the second week in a row, the Chicago Bears were handed a tough loss by the New York Giants. It was a game that everybody might have underestimated as the Bears didn't look to be on the same page and might have thought they had an easy win against New York. For Chase Daniel, it was a completely different game compared to the win against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.Daniel threw two interceptions and was sacked five times as the Bears loss 30-27 in overtime on a rainy day in New York. «It was wet but that's not an excuse,» Daniel told the Chicago Sun-Times. «As an offense, especially as a quarterback, your No. 1 job is to take care of the football. And I didn't do that today. I let my team down. I'll be the first one to say that.»
Trubisky is trending up when it comes to Week 14 and no matter what happens next Sunday, it doesn't sound like Daniel will get over Week 13. «It's going to take me a while to get over this,» Daniel said.
