It is without a doubt a topic of much interest for Bears fans. After making a high number of moves in the offseason, Chicago's front office is expected to get a grade A rating in the draft in order to continue to impress.
Matt Lombardo had a chat with Georgia EDGE Nolan Smith who has admitted that both the Bears and the Eagles have spent a lot of time with him over the last few months.
Mock drafts have been throw all over the place over the last few weeks leading up to the draft, which pinned the Bears in multiple scenarios with their 9th overall pick. It is also a possibility that Ryan Poles may trade down, adding additional confusing as to where Chicago's priorities lay.
One thing is true, and that is that Chicago is seeking to reinforce both sides of the trenches. The chances of drafting a pass rusher are certainly high, but will Nolan Smith be that guy?
