As announced this past week, former Commanders and current Titans guard Saahdiq Charles has shockingly announced his retirement from the NFL:
Charles, who was the Commanders' 4th-round draft pick in 2020, became a starter for the team during the 2023 season.
Unfortunately, many injuries have negatively affected his career, and he has not been able to stay healthy for a full season.
Following the 2023 season, where Charles missed some time due to a calf injury, he signed with the Titans.
However, though he just signed with them this offseason, he has decided to step away from the game and retire from the NFL, at the young age of 26.
