Before becoming a coach, Harris played as a defensive back for the Bears from 2006-2007, and then returned again from 2010-2011. He was named as a second-team all-pro in the 2010 season.
After his playing career came to an end, Harris became the defensive quality control coach on the Bears in 2013, and stayed in Chicago until being let go following the 2014 season.
Since then, he has built up his resume and has worked with the Chargers, Commanders, and Titans. Harris is now looking to become the DC, and is eyeing a position with the Bears again.
