As wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown recounted on The 33rd Team podcast, there was an especially boisterous fan positioned directly behind the Bears' bench who kept up a relentless stream of commentary throughout the game.
"This individual has become a staple at our games here, consistently vocal from the front row right behind us," Equanimeous observed, noting the fan's presence wasn't a first-time occurrence. He even humorously suggested that the Lions might be comping the fan's seat in exchange for his non-stop chatter aimed at the Bears.
Amidst the ruckus, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Equanimeous' brother and a Lions player, saw the lighter side, appreciating the fan's enthusiastic, albeit nonsensical banter directed at the opposing team.
In a playful yet pointed retort, Bears' DJ Moore autographed a football with a "Shut up" inscription before presenting it to the fan. This wasn't just any footballit was the one Moore had secured for a 38-yard touchdown in that very game against the Lions. The 33rd Team later unearthed both footage of the fan and the infamous signed football.
