Let's face it, we need more help with our receivers. In Mooney I trust, but he won't be enough to save what's surely a rebuilding season. Even in a rebuild season, it would be nice to win the division or at least make a wild card appearance, hell I'd take a win over the Packers as a winning season right now. So after some digging here are five WR's the Bears really need to look at to give Justin some weapons.
Jahan Dotson, Penn State
A little guy in a big package coming in at under 6 foot, but very explosive Jahan could be an easy day 2 pickup with the Bears having the 39th pick.
George Pickens, Georgia
At a solid «6,3» he would be a great deep threat for Justin, he averaged 15 yards a catch at Georgia. He has a big upside but is also injury prone and although this could worry the front office he could end up as a great second-round steal.
John Metchie III, Alabama
As much as I can't stand Alabama, John runs a 4.36 40 and has very solid hands. He is great at avoiding tacklers and would make a great development pick in the third round. If he stays explosive I guess I can make an exception this time around.
Calvin Austin III, Memphis
Calvin is quick, he burns defenses on the regular and has a pretty good year at 16.3. He could be good on special teams as he also returns punts. Maybe it's the Bears fan in me but I have been dying to see some form of a second Devin Hester and he could add a little spice to the roster.
Christian Watson, North Dakota State
All I see is a potential Megatron, Coming in at «6,5» Christian has the size and skill to excel in the league. 4.36 forty, fast, athletic, and fights for the ball. Although a bit inconsistent with dropped balls, I think with the right mentorship he can be a solid threat in the NFL.
