The Chicago Bears overpowered the Las Vegas Raiders, securing a 30-12 triumph at Soldier Field and putting an end to their 10-game home losing skid that began on Sept. 25, 2022.

Rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent made his NFL debut, filling in for the injured Justin Fields. The result? A splendid first-time performance. Bagent astutely managed the game, capitalizing on a running offense that accumulated 173 yards. This led the Bears to their season's second victory. Chicago's defense also showcased their prowess, allowing only 12 points, a season record.

Here's a breakdown of the standout performers and the less impressive players from the Bears' Week 7 win over the Raiders.

HIGHLIGHT: CB Jaylon Johnson

Up until Sunday's match, Johnson had only one interception in over three seasons. He doubled that number against the Raiders. One interception, a 39-yard return from quarterback Brian Hoyer, resulted in a touchdown, solidifying the Bears' victory. Later, he intercepted a pass from rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell. While Johnson faced some pass interference calls, his critical interceptions overshadowed those errors.

HIGHLIGHT: RB D'Onta Foreman

With top players like Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson out, Foreman stepped up for the second week in a row. A commendable performance saw him carry the ball 16 times for 89 yards, averaging an impressive 5.6 yards per carry, resulting in two touchdowns. He also made three catches for 31 yards, ending with a touchdown. With Herbert set to miss the next two games due to injury, Foreman is certainly making a case for more game time.

HIGHLIGHT: QB Tyson Bagent

In his debut NFL start, Bagent emerged triumphant. His stats might not be extraordinary, but he managed the Bears' offense effectively, preventing any turnovers. Bagent had 21 completions out of 29 attempts, resulting in 162 yards. He threw one touchdown and had no interceptions. He also contributed with his feet, rushing three times for 24 yards. As Justin Fields' return remains uncertain, Bagent is demonstrating his worth and looks to be a dependable substitute for the Bears in their upcoming match against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.
