Peppers was drafted by the Panthers as the 2nd overall pick in 2002, and after 8 successful seasons, he left Carolina and signed with the Bears in 2010.
He then spent the next few seasons in Chicago, which were also met with success. He was then released ahead of the 2014 season.
Peppers then went on to play for the Packers, and then fished his career back with the Panthers.
After a legendary 17-year career, Peppers announced his retirement from the NFL in 2019.
Peppers finished his career as the 2002 Defensive Rookie of the Year, a 7-time All-Pro, 9-time Pro Bowler, a member of the 2000s and 2010s All-Decade Team, and listed at number 59 on the 100 greatest Bears of All-Time list.
If Peppers becomes inducted in 2024, he would become a first ballot hall of famer due to this being his first year of eligibility.
