Former Bears All-Pro has Re-Signed with the Panthers
As revealed on Monday, the Panthers are re-signing RB Tarik Cohen for the 2024 season:
Cohen has had a difficult NFL journey so far in his career. After being drafted by the Bears in 2017, Cohen was seen to be a future superstar, but those chances then fell apart.
Cohen was named as an All-Pro and a Pro Bowler in 2018, but after that season, he has not been the same.
Cohen then suffered a potential career-ending injury in the 2020 season, and has not been the same since. Every time he attempted a comeback, another injury would postpone the goal.
Cohen decided to not give up on his career even while going through these injuries, and was finally able to make a comeback this past offseason after signing with the Panthers.
Though he was never activated onto the roster, he remained on the practice squad. And now, he is coming back for another season after signing a reserve/future contract.
Bears fans are very happy for him!
